Stefanos Village is a private enterprise designed with a dominant sentiment of “humanity”. The hotel respects and applies the laws and rules of the state and the free market in balance with traditional hospitality.
Our goal at Stefanos Village is to offer excellent hospitality, providing our facilities and services, so as to transform the expectation of each guest into an unforgettable summer experience.
For the smooth operation of the hotel and for the guest to be aware of the environment of his stay, we designed appropriate types of Policies within the framework of our Legislative obligations and well-meaning hospitality, which describe the mutual obligations and rights between the guest and the hotel, for the establishment of harmonious relations.
These policies are publicly posted on our website and accessible to the public. The main elements of these are displayed in the registration form and on a relevant table at the hotel reception and in each apartment.

HOSPITALITY POLICY
The main idea behind Stefanos Village Hotel’s philosophy is to provide the traditional hospitality of Crete. Every prospective guest, from the moment their reservation is confirmed at Stefanos Village, becomes a special guest, whom we look forward to welcoming in order to offer them our hospitality and services.
The ability to make our guest’s dream vacation a reality is based on mutual respect, understanding and cooperation between hotel and guest. The hotel complies with all legal obligations towards its guests. Similarly, the guest must comply with the hotel’s operating rules and instructions, respect the staff who serve them and use the hotel’s materials and items with care and prudence.
SERVICE QUALITY POLICY
The company’s Quality Policy focuses on the Customer, the employee, the provision of Quality Products and Services, Quality Facilities and Infrastructures and their Continuous Improvement, Excellent Hygiene and Safety of products, customers and employees, and finally, on Environmental Protection.
The Services and products offered by the Company are designed to meet the needs, expectations and requirements of guests, adhering in all cases to the rules of entrepreneurship, the capabilities of the company and the requirements of the Legislation.
All Company executives are aware of and implement this Quality Policy, while making a continuous effort to improve the services provided to the customer.
CUSTOMER RESERVATION POLICY
Each reservation is considered valid and guaranteed by the hotel, provided that it has been paid in accordance with the payment policy defined by the category of reservation chosen by the customer and provided that a confirmation has been sent by the hotel.
Reservations concern an apartment category and not a specific apartment, except for the Cretan Houses category where the reservation is made for a specific residence. Customer requests or wishes for specific apartments are taken into account for their satisfaction, if possible, depending on availability and the booking plan at the time of the customer’s arrival. RESERVATION GUARANTEE
The hotel undertakes and guarantees that it will have available and will make available to the customer, upon check-in on the day agreed for the reservation, the apartment of the category chosen by the customer, as required by the Law and good hospitality ethics. The hotel may provide a higher and more expensive apartment to the customer, without additional charge and without the customer having any claims for dissatisfaction.
In case of unavailability of the apartment booked by the customer or of a higher category, the Company undertakes to compensate and satisfy the customer as stipulated by the Greek Legislation.
In cases of force majeure for which the Company is not responsible, such as natural disasters (floods, fires, etc.) or terrorist acts, the Company bears no responsibility and the customer cannot claim any claim from the hotel.
DAILY OPERATION POLICY
The hotel is committed to complying with all its legal obligations towards its customers and, in addition, makes every effort within the framework of traditional hospitality to satisfy its guests and live their dream at Stefanos Village.
